Welcome to the Cognitive Development Lab at the University of Calgary!

 

 

As you have probably noticed, your young child’s understanding of both the physical and social world is expanding at a dramatic rate during the preschool years. This amazing development in cognitive abilities in young children is the focus of our Cognitive Development Laboratory.

Our research examines general cognitive functioning (such as memory, planning and reasoning) through fun, game-like activities.
