Diversity Resources

Diversity-Related Resources for Faculty, Educators, and Trainees in Clinical Psychology

Multicultural Bibliography

The American Psychological Association's Presidential Taskforce on Diversity Education compiled a comprehensive annotated bibliography of teaching resources, including books, book chapters, journal articles, films, websites, and other media, relevant to diversity, equity, and inclusion. Subject matter includes cross-cutting issues, such as assessment, institutional support for diversity education, and power and privilege, plus resources for working with specific minority groups.

Diversity Toolkit

This document lists resources which may be useful for clinic directors, clinical supervisors, University/college professors/instructors, and other professionals providing training and education to psychology students and trainees in terms of: 1) equipping trainees with skills and knowledge to be culturally-competent in practice, and 2) delivering training to trainees from diverse backgrounds. Resources providing practical  recommendations for increasing the diversity of students and faculty at higher-education institutions are also included.

Cultural-Competence in Adult Psychotherapy

This annotated bibliography provides web- and print-based resources to assist clinicians and students in providing culturally-informed psychotherapy to diverse adult clients.
